This is an opportunity for you to help the thousands of students who want to follow in your footsteps. You have a unique set of skills and talents and we want to put them to work. In the upcoming months, you will hear more about opportunities to serve as mentors and models to high school students interested in engineering. We hope that we can count on you to advocate for NACME in your professional environment. Finally, we need your support and participation in our events, as well as financial assistance. We are honored to have them.
The First NACME Alumni Networking Event
We are pleased to announce that NACME will host its inaugural alumni function in New York City on October 20, 2010 from 6-8 PM, at the GE Monogram Design Center located on the 10th Floor of the Architects & Designers Building, 150 east 58th Street, New York, NY 10155. We thank General Electric, a NACME board member, for generously donating the venue and light refreshments for the event.
The evening will give alumni an opportunity to network – share ideas, career opportunities or form new professional partnerships. If you are a New York tri-state NACME alum or just want to visit the Big Apple for the occasion, we hope you will join us. Please let us know if you plan to attend and spread the word to other NACME alumni, so we can determine a headcount as quickly as possible.

Alumni Directory in Progress
NACME is working with Harris Connect in producing an alumni directory. Over the next several months, alumni may receive postcards, emails or phone calls from Harris asking for updated contact information. We would appreciate your cooperation in updating your contact information. All updates are returned to NACME so that our database remains current. Harris Connect is only collecting information for purposes of the directory. Your information will not be released to any third parties. You decide whether or not your personal information is published in the directory-make your wishes clear to the representative with whom you speak. It is a great way to stay connected to the NACME alumni community!
All alumni who have updated their information on-line will be contacted by Harris Connect to verify their information. This step is necessary to ensure the integrity of our records as well as the quality of the Alumni Directory.
