The 2011 NACME Data Book
The 2011 NACME Data Book is an important follow-up to NACME's 2008 work. It is a unique resource of in-depth information about the engineering pipeline with analysis on historically underrepresented minorities in engineering, engineering schools, the U.S. STEM workforce, engineering salaries, and more. This version of the Data Book also includes a section with data about NACME Scholars.
Data Decks:
In order to better organize the information collected, NACME separated the data into five initial decks. Supplemental decks will be posted periodically, as more data becomes available. The decks are separated as follows:
Deck 1: Increasing Diversity
Deck 2: Pre-College Challenges
Deck 3: Enrollment and Persistence
Deck 4: Engineering Degrees
Deck 5: U.S. Engineering Workforce
