NACME Online Resumes: Intern Selection a Breeze

NACME believes that internships play a critical role in the development of engineering students entering the workforce.
Beginning in September 2005, NACME Scholar resumes will be available on-line. Scholars can update their information in real time.
NACME partner companies will have access to a hundreds of top performing underrepresented minority engineering students.
Through grants from IBM, BP Amoco Corporation and Shell Oil Company, we are able to make NACME Scholar resumes more accessible
to managers who are responsible for hiring decisions.
In the coming weeks NACME will provide information to NACME scholars and corporate partners on how the new system will work.
Dr. John Brooks Slaughter, NACME president and CEO, said, "this new process will help our corporate partners and our students
connect more efficiently. The system will increase the student's opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience to
make classroom work more relevant."
