With a retention rate well above the national average for
minority and nonminority students alike (85% v. 39%), a higher
representation of female students (40% v. 19% national average),
and a 3.1 average GPA across disciplines, NACME-supported
scholars are high achievers!

CAPS
NACME's aim is to assist academic insitutions in their capability
to recruit, admit, retain, educate and graduate minority engineering
students. One of the easiest ways to support this effort is through a
Company-Affiliated Partner Scholarship (CAPS)
We need your help to make it happen.
Block Grants
We've learned much over the past 30 years.
Providing scholarships directly to students is insufficient to
achieve our goal. We've formed partnerships to provide
block grants to selected partner institutions
that share NACME’s vision of capacity-building and share best
practices for increasing the minority engineering graduation rate.
We will make it easy for institutions to identify students and
ensure that our scholarship support is targeted to students who
have demonstrated need.
