From a NACME Scholar
Michael Maximilien, a NACME Scholar states:

"I was a NACME scholar in Computer Engineering at Florida International University (FIU). Because of NACME I was sponsored by IBM to work as a co-op during my undergraduate studies at FIU in Miami. Upon graduation, I joined IBM's software lab in Raleigh NC where I spent nine years doing all types of software development and architecture work. With IBM's support I continued my education at NC State University and completed my Master's (2002) and Ph.D. (2004) both in computer science.

Now I am a Research Staff Member at the IBM Almaden Research Center doing software and services-related research. I have no doubt that I would not have been able to achieve my current success without the NACME scholarship and the subsequent relationship that I fostered with IBM due to NACME's association."

An internship experience with a NACME partner company will give you a competitive edge. The company will benefit from your talent and skills. You will gain a valuable and meaningful work experience as a starting block to a prosperous career.
