The support you need
Many students don't succeed in their pursuit of an engineering degree because they go the "lone ranger" route. For that matter, engineering graduates may find it difficult to excel in their new careers without support. If you want to enhance your success, become part of an academic community. Take advantage of the services and support offered by chapters of national student organizations on your campus. After you graduate, use the power of mentorship to enhance your success.
