About the Conference
NACME will host its 48th Anniversary Conference and Symposium on October 12th -14th in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference will bring together leaders from both Corporations and Universities to discuss a national agenda on diversity and inclusion in the engineering and computer science fields. Students from local high schools, community college and pathway programs will attend to learn about opportunities to participate in the field. Current college students will participate in a Hackathon, take Certification Classes and attend a Recruitment Fair. Please join us for this important event.

Career Fair
Engineering and computer science students are invited to participate in NACME’s Career & Technology Innovation Fair (CTIF). Company recruiters will be on hand to recruit talent as well as highlight their latest advances in technology.

Hackathon Team Arrival Check-In
Arrive early, hotel heck-in, and team check-in. Then get ready to engineer a real-would solution to a real-world problem.
6PM - 8PM
Welcome Reception
Welcome to Atlanta! Opening networking event for all conference participants. Students will also learn the rules, constraints, resources, and more for the Hackathon.
9AM - Midnight
Hackathon
Teams will be tasked with designing, developing, and marketing a solution to a real-world problem.
10AM - 12PM
College Fair
University Representatives will host a table to meet Atlanta-area high school, community college and transfer students.
12PM - 2PM
Pathway Luncheon
Join us for lunch to be inspired to get on the pathway to a career in engineering or computer science.
5PM - 6PM
Hackathon Dinner
Teams will be joined by subject matter experts for a dine and learn experience to assist with the final development phases of their solutions.
6PM - 7PM
Symposium Panel (UPS WHQ)
Sponsored by UPS, join us for the bi-annual NACME symposium panel to hear from national partners and leaders on a recommitment to dramatically grow participation numbers.
