Webinars

NACME’s webinar series is designed to enhance the professional skills of NACME Scholars and make professional development a year-round activity. While internships, and informal contact between the Scholars and their Mentors provide a strong base of information about breaking into and succeeding in Corporate America. Webinars help to reinforce key information, introduce Scholars to new speakers and industry leaders, and create a sense of community during the school year. The series consist of professional development themes, technical skills themes, and academic development themes during the spring, fall, and summer, respectively. Topics covered include how to succeed in technical interviews, resume writing, development of LinkedIn pages, building your professional brand, early career decision-making, and effective team leadership. NACME Webinars provide needed support to narrow soft and technical skill performance gaps of minority populations.
